Public Awareness Manager Presentations
Demonstrating the functionality of the Public Awareness Manager (PAM) software.
During February, Paradigm conducted seven PAM demonstrations for 75 pipeline operators, showing the operators the features of PAM including layout, documentation, and the ability to query a specific record within their program.
One set of demonstrations gave operators a look at PAM Express, which is an online, shareable, documentation center. PAM Express makes it is easy to access current, and historical compliance program documentation in one location.
The second 
set of demonstrations focused on PAM Enterprise. During the PAM Enterprise meetings, mapping features were highlighted to demonstrate how PAM can be used to show the parameters of a program. Mapping was used to display the location of an operator’s pipeline centerline in physical relation to stakeholders, and communication-related aspects of compliance programs. Additionally, the documentation features covered in PAM Express were presented.
"We had more focused PAM Enterprise training in that group of seven (demonstrations),” Paradigm Senior Vice President Rob Falconio said. “We went through all the features of the applications. Operators have the ability in PAM Enterprise to query contacts, query surveys, and look at specific results record by record.”
These demonstrations also gave operators a look at the benefits of upgrading from PAM Express to the expanded features of PAM Enterprise.
“The operators were a little surprised at how much information was available to them in the Enterprise version of PAM,” Falconio said. “We gave them a platform to ask questions, we gave them the opportunity to reach out to consultants. We’ve had some traction with that.”
